All applicants for admission must take the College Board SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or the ACT (American College Test), which should be scheduled in spring of the junior year and may be taken again through the December test date of the senior year.
Applicants for freshman admission to Georgia Tech who wish to enroll during or after the fall of 2008 will be required to submit the writing assessment portion of SAT or ACT.
December scores will not be considered for the President's Scholarship competition. January results may not meet the admissions application deadline.
Official test scores must be sent directly to Georgia Tech from the testing agency.
Georgia Tech's school code number for the SAT I is 5248, and the code for the ACT is 0818.
