What I Recommend to do while in Atlanta : Head to Centennial Olympic Park to visit the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke and CNN Center. Check out the Olympic fountain water show while you're there and try to run through the rings without getting wet! Standing at the south end of the park, you can see the downtown and midtown skyline and realize what an amazing city we are a part of. There are also lots of great places to eat around the park!

Favorite Thing about Georgia Tech Savannah: The collaborative nature of our engineering programs and the ease of access to gaining experience in the field through Co-op or hands-on interactive research.

Favorite Place on Georgia Tech Savannah Campus: ELAB building - home to the HIVE, our student center - the hub of activity at GT-S!

Favorite Place in Savannah: The squares of downtown. Savannah is a perfect walking city where you can take in the southern charm amid the rows of beautiful, historical homes nestled along streets lined with ancient live oak trees.

Favorite Restaurant near Georgia Tech Savannah Campus: MIWA in Pooler, Island Grill in Port Wentworth and Sapphire Grill downtown/City Market area.

What I recommend to do while in Savannah: Take a River boat cruise, shop on Broughton Street, enjoy southern cuisine in City Market, stroll along River Street at sunset, soak in the sun at Tybee Island and explore the natural beauty of the Georgia coast by kayaking the marshes and waterways.

Favorite Thing about Georgia Tech: There are so many things I love about Tech that it is hard to pick just one...I think that it's the welcoming environment and the amazing projects students are embarking on that top the list.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is Tech Square. It is filled with students, delicious restaurants, and has a very urban feel to it.

Favorite Place in Atlanta: My favorite place in Atlanta is the Virginia Highlands area. So many things to do!

Favorite Restaurant near Campus: There are two restaurants I love to visit around the area - Taqueria del Sol and Figo Pasta...so good!

What I recommend to do while in Atlanta: I recommend visiting the High Museum of Art; it always has very good exhibits, and it is a beautiful building.

Favorite Place in Atlanta: I love hiking Kennesaw Mountain, which is only about 20 minutes north of campus. The best part is - it's free!

Favorite Restaurant near Campus: I love Taco Mac, and contrary to what you may be thinking, the best thing on the menu are the hot wings.

What I recommend to do while in Atlanta: The Behind the Scenes Tour at the Georgia Aquarium. It is worth the money!
