Transfer Application Updates
Please submit an official transcript from all previous colleges or institutions by March 15 so our office can complete an initial review of your application. A final, official transcript from your current institution and term is required by the June 1 document deadline. Foreign credit evaluations and official foreign transcripts should be submitted by credit evaluation agencies as soon as possible and no later than June 1.
Please allow 5 - 7 business days from the time our office receives your document to post an update to your application checklist. Electronic transcripts or emails to Undergraduate Admission are not automatic or immediately updated; manual processes are still required. Your patience is appreciated.
Please review the transfer credit page to learn how to submit a course evaluation request by the April 1 course evaluation deadline. Failure to submit a course evaluation by April 1st will delay your application review.
Please allow a minimum of 15 – 20 business days for a transfer credit decision, but know that it may take longer, as the Registrar’s Office receives a high volume of course evaluation requests. They work directly with academic colleges and departments to review and render transfer credit decisions. Please note the April 1 deadline for course evaluation requests and check the transfer credit website to monitor your course evaluation request.
“Hold for Additional Grades” status means that an admission decision on your application will not be available until Georgia Tech receives the final, official transcript with grades from your current term. The deadline to submit this information is June 1.
