All deadlines are 11:59 p.m. in your time zone (for example, a student who lives in Georgia must submit their application by Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m. EDT).

*Documents (transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) must be sent by the deadline listed above.

Early Action

Students who wish to be considered for academic scholarships, such as the Stamps President's Scholars Program, Scheller Dean's Scholarship and others, must apply by October 15 or November 2 (depending on Georgia status). No separate scholarship application is required.

The Early Action application date is non-binding, and the application and evaluation is the same as for Regular Decision.

Beginning for the 2021 application cycle, Early Action will be divided into two rounds. This change allows us to focus on Georgia students earlier in the process and is more in line with school start dates in our state versus other parts of the country.

Early Action 1

The October 15 application deadline is reserved for Georgia students, defined by those who attend a Georgia high school or Georgia residents living outside the state.

Early Action 2

The November 2 application deadline is reserved for non-Georgia students who wish to be evaluated in an early action round, defined by those who attend a high school outside Georgia (including international) and are not Georgia residents.

Regular Decision

January 4 is the last date to apply for first-year admission for the following summer/fall term. The application and evaluation is the same as for Early Action.

Application Fee

The 2021 non-refundable first-year application fee is $75 (international applicants: $85). Students who pay an application fee but do not submit an application will not have their fee refunded.

Fee Waivers

If you feel that your financial circumstances might qualify you for an application fee waiver, you can request a fee waiver in the Common App fee waiver section in the profile section. Your school counselor will be asked to complete a fee waiver form to affirm your request for a fee waiver.

Any of the following indicators of economic need can qualify you for a Common App fee waiver:

  • You have received or are eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver
  • You are enrolled in or eligible to participate in the federal free or reduced price lunch program (FRPL)
  • Your annual family income falls within the Income eligibility guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service
  • You are enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., TRIO programs such as Upward Bound)
  • Your family receives public assistance
  • You live in a federally subsidized public housing, a foster home or are homeless
  • You are a ward of the state or an orphan
