First-Year Students

The Office of Undergraduate Admission will resume in-person campus tours led by our student tour guides starting Tuesday, June 1. Registration opens Tuesday, May 18.

The in-person campus tour does not include an admission presentation with a staff member. Admission information sessions will continue to be offered in a virtual format. Students and families should plan to participate in a virtual information session with an admission staff member prior to arriving on campus for a tour.

Virtual programming will continue to be offered throughout the summer. Through these programs, students and families will have opportunities to engage with admission staff, current Tech students, and the greater Tech Community.

Please continue to check our website for updated information regarding the summer visit schedule.

Prospective First-Year Students

We have many virtual options for high school students to learn more about Georgia Tech. Our hope is that the variety of virtual programming will help you learn everything you need to know about Georgia Tech and the college admission process.

As always, demonstrated interest is NOT part of our admission process. These visits are for you, to help you begin to consider whether Tech is the right college fit for you!

Our hope is to bring campus to you, when you can’t get here to see it for yourself. Explore our Virtual Visit website to experience campus on your own.

On Campus Self-Guided Tour Information

If you choose to visit campus, it is important that you continue to follow the social distancing guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The guidelines require that you stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people, do not gather in groups larger than 10 people, and stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings.

The University System of Georgia (USG) institutions require all faculty, staff, students, and visitors to wear an appropriate face covering while inside campus facilities/buildings. Additional information can be found on our Monitoring Coronavirus website.

Should you choose to visit campus on your own, please note that some buildings may be closed to the public or have restricted access. Admission counselors will be available to answer questions by either phone or email.
