Academic Preparation

College Transcript Requirements

All students must submit an official college transcript in English from all prior colleges (domestic and international) to Georgia Tech by the document deadline. Students who enrolled in a college or university outside the U.S. must submit a foreign credit evaluation in addition to the official college transcript by the document deadline. Click here to learn how to submit documents.

When evaluating academic transcripts, we are very interested in understanding how you challenged yourself relative to the curriculum available at your institution.  Competitive applicants demonstrate success in rigorous curriculum over time especially within course requirements by major.

We encourage all applicants to progress beyond minimum course requirements and complete recommended and major-specific coursework consistent with degree requirements. Refer to the Georgia Tech catalog for degree requirements by major.

Foreign Credit Evaluation

Transfer applicants with Non-U.S. College or university-level coursework are required to have a foreign credit evaluation sent directly to Georgia Tech from a professional foreign credential evaluation service. Learn more.

NOTE: It is the applicant’s responsibility to communicate changes in coursework after a transfer application has been submitted to Undergraduate Admission.
